Outfit of the Day, Vol. 4: Black and White for My BFF's Baby Shower - Makeup and Beauty Blog

I've been feeling kinda chunky and bloated all 24-hour interval long (damn you lot, PMS!) and came this close to wearing sweats and a tank top to my BFF's babe shower this afternoon, but I didn't desire to break whatever unwritten political party etiquette rules like "Thou shalt not clothing stretchy pants to events jubilant major life changes," or anything like that, then I nixed the idea, every bit tempting as it was.

Instead, I pulled out ane of my favorite dresses, a blackness cotton strapless A-line I picked up years agone at Gap.

I how forgiving it is. Ah, sugariness, wonderful A-line… Fitted at the top, it gradually widens toward the hem to class the shape of a capital letter A. They're i of my favorite cuts — then corking if you're trying to disguise your stomach and/or bum just still want to bear witness a little bit of shape.

I think the black makes it a little more slimming, too, and the colour never actually goes out of style.

Here I'm dressing information technology up with some Chanel-inspired accessories from Forever 21, an ivory lace sweater and black wedges. I considered dressing it down with a denim jacket, hoops and flip-flops but decided against information technology this time effectually.

• Shoes — Franco Sarto (I'yard non certain if they however carry these…)
• Necklace — Forever 21 (check the shop for availability)

Well, my Giant Pet Hair Roller and I bid you bye (this clothes picks up true cat fur like crazy!). See yous after the shower, hopefully with some boodle from the games. 😀
